I'm a freelance photographer these days, based in Leicestershire (nowhere is far away!). Regardless of whether I'm shooting a personal project or for someone else, I aim to take photographs that draw a 'Wow' from the viewer. A favourite time to shoot is in the hours around dawn and dusk - the so-called 'golden hour'. If I get an idea on a location for an image I will usually do whatever it takes to achieve that idea. This involves research, and many times a daft-o-clock departure, to arrive at the location at the optimum time to be in with a chance of capturing my idea! I have been fortunate to win a few awards in the past, with my work appearing in, and on, books and magazines, as well as displays, TV, and exhibitions. My camera is never far away, and is in use virtually everyday!
